We are really pleased to announce the safe reopening of our Academy in Edgewater NJ and the resumption of in-person classes for our Martial Art Students in accordance with the guidelines set forth, we are open to provide full training.

Edgewater Kung Fu Academy is taking appropriate measures to keep our students and our staff members safe. Our academy has always gone above and beyond to meet the health standards and guidelines set up by the CDC and the NJ State Department of Health, and we will continue to exceed those standards now.

We encourage you to visit our academy and trust that we will continue to implement any action necessary to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Please remember that maintaining good health is essential to your overall well-being and fitness.

Your Kung Fu Academy experience will be a little different to help ensure your safety and our compliance with local and state ordinances.

Here’s what you can expect at your next visit:

Students must wear masks (we have masks available as well)
All Students will be confirmed COVID-free prior to being scheduled, as well as upon check-in (temperature checks and health questionnaire)
Our staff is equipped with the proper (PPE) personal protective equipment (e.g., gloves, masks, eyewear and more)
Our personnel will undergo daily temperature checks and health screenings
Students will experience a clean and disinfected waiting area at all times
Sanitizing stations will be provided for Students
Some sterilized electronic devices will solely be used for check-ins
Continual sanitation of door handles, countertops, restrooms, and furniture
Wait in-car option available for parents
Pre-procedural sanitizing, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces
Students will be asked to practice social distancing, respiratory hygiene, and cough etiquette

Bought a gift certificate for my mom so this review is from her to try Tai Chi. The facility and instructors are good. Lots of different classes available. The only things that could be improved is providing more tai chi class times - some of the classes are quite full with people a bit close. And the facility can be warm at times. Maybe set the ac to a lower temperature. Otherwise a good facility in a good location. If not for warm facility and congested classes she would have subscribed.

I have nothing but high praise for this School. Sifu Robinson is a great teacher and has been a wonderful influence in my grandson's life. He has been a student there since he was three years old. He is now 7, and it has become very important in our lives. It is as much about integrity and learning to do the right thing, as it is about developing A Martial Arts practice.
